Palash Mahmud has served as the Bangladesh Country Coordinator of the Global Peace Institute (GPI, Canada) since 2020. GPI is an international initiative working on peace, tolerance, intercultural dialogue and social development.

As Country Coordinator he coordinates and represents the institute's activities in Bangladesh, connects local young people and social workers with this international network, and leads initiatives to spread a message of peace and coexistence.
