The Online Editors Alliance (OEA) is a national platform for the editors of Bangladesh's online news media, where Palash Mahmud serves as Organizing Secretary. At a time of rapid growth in digital journalism, OEA plays an important role in bringing online editors under one umbrella, building professional solidarity and raising media standards.
As Organizing Secretary he works on coordination among member editors, professional training and the exchange of experience, representing the interests of online journalism at the policy level, and upholding ethical standards in the digital news media.
